Kinja'd!!!

Bought all of these, as well as a bundle of DLC for American Truck Simulator, for 25 bucks off of steam. It’d been a while since I purchased a new game and I’ve only really used my steering wheel rig for one or two games I already owned. Now I can drive trucks a lot, which will hopefully be cathartic since... well... I don’t have anywhere to drive right now and the area I’m in doesn’t have many two lane backroads... at least not to my knowledge.

Also wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who commented on my last post. I got a TON of super useful information from you all on doing oil changes myself and the tools I may need. More questions will come in the future, but for now I’m truly grateful to have been exposed to a plethora of wisdom.

Have a fantastic day!

Ooh with a wheel set up those can just eat up the hours. Sadly, school precludes such foolishness for me. Snowrunner still has devoured an alarming quantity of my evenings.

I played Mudrunner once, and I can tell you that’s next on the list. I have school too, and I also have to share the TV with a roommate, which limits how many hours I play games that he and his girlfriend don’t care that much about. (I t’s a small price to play for playing games like Automation and now the Truck Simulator games on a 74 inch flat screen... as it was always intended... right?)

I don't have automation but it is on my list. You have some good taste in games. I completed mudrunner on the hardest difficulty on every map and it was so worth it. I'm close on Snowrunner.

I play ATS a good bit. I have a Logitech G27, but I am too lazy to take it out the closet and hook it up :P

Automation is a good bit of fun, whether you know a lot about cars or not. I just liked the idea of designing and driving but the more I play the more I’m picking up when it comes to certain mechanical terminologies. I’m getting smarter by playing video games!

That’s a much fancier wheel than I have, but you ought to. Using a wheel transforms a game into a totally different (and somewhat trickier) beast.

That’s how it works. Video games are a big brain move.
